Crazy about Audrey Hepburn

A fan is always a fan..

Audrey Hepburn lives in my heart forever...

a little fact about her:

As a young child audrey lived in Nazi-occupied holland from 1940 to 1945 and she volunteered to be a resistance collaborator in the village who would provide a hideaway.

audrey was such a commited UNICEF respresentative that she put up in the camp in Somalia .She contracted a virus in africa and died of a widespread cancer in her colon.

Even though she was suffering and dying,Audrey one wish for christmas was ,Peace."Peace for the children suffering in the world."

During her last christmas holiday in tolochenaz,she was confined to bed all the time but she was so gracious to distribute presents to everyone she love and she gave her gd friend (Hubert De Givenchy the designer and friend behind her wardrobe of breakfast at tiffanys and roman holiday)her blue coat.She took her coat and kissed it and said,"blue was yr fav colour."It was the last gift to him before she died that yr.

She passed away in her home on wed Jan 20th,with her son lucas and,Mel(ex hubby),her companion robert wolders and some very close friends.They said she died with the same indelible smile as all suffering had vanished and she was ready to go..

She passed away on 20 January 1993, in Tolochenaz, Vaud, Switzerland, and was interred there.

Juz the other day, I received a very interesting email from someone which confirmed my suspicion that some folks out there are paid to write good stuffs about products. So, folks, read anything online with a pinch of salt, even if it's found on a personal & supposedly non-commercial website.

Good bye babies,im going back to work force

Im a serious doll collector since 4yrs back,my first blythe was Korea 1st Anniversary Blythe Minute.since then,I make doll shadow boxes and home for the girls and gradually I started sewing as well..I guess one day i'll outgrown my hobby but till then,I'll still be into blythe Photography...Here are some favourites from flickr..

Blythe was created in 1972 by Kenner,back then,people were afraid of her huge eyes..so her career as doll ended after 1 yr...many years back in the 1990s,Gina Garan a renowned NYC photographer found her and use her as a muse in ehr photographer..Together with Gina,Blythe was taken to meet junko wong(Creative director behind CWC)together they help launch the career for the Takara Blythe in Japan,Japanese were so captivated by the idea,the designers help keep the Blythe spirit alive by created more limited editions dolls,collaboration with designers to created more awareness...A Star is born and Blythe,The rest is history....

Happy birthday to Blythe,we wish u many more happy years!!Teens as young as 12 yrs old and working adults as old as 52 all collect blythe around the world..Today if u goggle "Blythe doll",there's more than 52,000 listnings related and most expensive doll today from 1972 can fetch few thousands of US dollars,so who's to say Blythe are for kids??I say they are for the young at heart and plenty of $$$$$ in their pockets!!Blythe is the LV of dolls..

My inspirations behind my crafts and sewing

Usually a designer would turn to a muse for an idea of inspiration behind their collection of design.Im no exception but my designs are inspired by films and story.
My first dress made in 2005 was named Breakfast At Blythe's,inspired by the movie Breakfast At tiffanys,simple and classy with lace.

2nd inspiration of the blue boldero and patch skirt is Oliver Twist.I think its quite a cute getup with the hair band and skirt,even though the initial idea was based on dutch lady,:)

3rd latest design was based on Red riding hood off on a killing spree for wolves,this one is quite glam and fun,glasses by cwc.And that vintage lace and cameo adds a nice touch to it!!

What to do when u could'nt shut yr eyes and zzzzz

Last night was feeling so active,I couldn't sleep,got my hands on my craft and started sewing away..its a better way than counting sheeps...I just completed sewing the oliver twist boldero hairband and patch skirt..im running out of ideas...where is that sewing machine,when is it coming??

The making of my magical collection for Blythe

This afternoon i finished some felt craft activity and sewed some clothes for blythe.I disliked herringbone stitch that's why some are left unhem,im shopping around for a travel sized sewing machine.Do you have any sewing machine for sale ??Hope u appreciate my crafts,:)

Im dreaming of cakes~~~

I spend a lot of time on etsy and Flickr and i was wondering perhaps i could kill time by making some craft cakes.I follow some instructions and with some sewing kit,I manage to sew some handsome cakes,four actually.some nice folk asked me to sell my cakes but im still not neat in the sewing bit so it takes some time before I do but I might just do that some day...next project is to sew blyhe clothes...Im just wondering where to get travel sized sewing machine??Its king of late and its time to ZZZZZZ.Gd nite to u moli and thanks for droppping by time to time!!

If u are unhappy,read this...its quite cute n funny

Once upon a time, there was a non-conforming sparrow who decided not to fly south for the winter.However, soon the weather turned so cold that he reluctantly started to fly south. In a short time, ice began to form on his wings and he fell to earth in a barnyard, almost frozen.A cow passed by and crapped on the little sparrow. The sparrow thought it was the end. But, the manure warmed him and defrosted his wings. Warm and happy, able to breathe, he started to sing. Just then a large cat came by and, hearing the chirping, investigated the sounds.The cat cleared away the manure, found the chirping bird and promptly ate him.

The moral of the story:
1. Everyone who craps on you is not necessarily your enemy.
2. Everyone who gets you out of the crap is not necessarily your friend.
3. And, if you're warm and happy in a pile of crap, keep your mouth shut.
4.Don't let the SHit gets to you!!!!Chill but be happy!!!(",")hahaha.....

Princess Diaries

Some time ago this week,I made some craft cakes .im very pleased with the results
and I plan to make two more.With this ,I decided to take a picture of blythe and related cake.Its quite a sweet shot but unfortunately the homes of Petite blythes are
too small to be used for the photo shot.My nikon camera does not seems to work so well,perhaps its time to get a slim new one,:)

Being the super free person at present,I tried my hands on some craft cakes..
